for Community Change is a national affordable housing
intermediary.
The Center for Health Care Strategies, Inc. serves as the National Program Office for national initiatives as a
non-profit, non-partisan policy and resource center.

comprehensive poverty-related information in local and regional contexts.

CSH is a national organization that provides technical assistance to

Consortium for Citizens with
Disabilities is a coalition of approximately 100 national
disability organizations working together to advocate for national public
policy that ensures the self determination, independence, empowerment,
integration and inclusion of children and adults with disabilities in all
aspects of society.

Consortium for Housing and Asset Management's
(CHAM's) mission is to better enable community-based organizations
and others in the nonprofit housing industry to responsibly own and
professionally manage affordable housing.

is a one-stop online resource designed to raise awareness about
the gulf that exists between those citizens who have access to

Alliance to End Homelessness is a national advocacy organization
for the homeless.
National Association of Developmental Disabilities
Councils (NADDC) is the national association of state DD
Councils.
National
Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) is
the national organization of directors of state mental health agencies.
The site has information, including their endorsement of supportive
housing and links to interesting activities in other states, for example
Oregon's plan
to develop supportive housing for the mentally ill.
The
National Empowerment Center aims to "carry a message of recovery,
empowerment, hope and healing to people who have been diagnosed with
mental illness." The Empowerment Center offers information and referral, a
newsletter, conference planning, advocacy, and research.
The National Center on Physical Activity and Disability (NCPAD) encourages
and supports people with disabilities who wish to increase their overall
level of activity and participate in some form of regular physical

Center for Housing Management is a nonprofit trainer of property

Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) NCHV seeks to
eliminate homelessness in the veteran community and work its way out of

The National Housing Institute is a 24-year old independent nonprofit
organization that examines the issues causing the crisis in housing and
