CLINICAL COORDINATOR/ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF SERVICES

Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Clinical Coordinator provides supervision of assigned programs with the supportive services department.  Administers and oversees program elements and commitments, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, the NJ Division of Mental Health and US Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Ensures seamless coordination of services delivery, including, but not limited to:  program development and implementation, case management for at risk populations, IDDT/IMR/Integrated Healthcare/Trauma Informed Care, crisis intervention and prevention, and employee/resident development.

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                                       
  Supervises program administration, operations, service delivery, clinical care and wellness  activities; provides direction to staff to  ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures, mission and funding guidelines.  • Credentialed to provide services and guidance to individuals with co-occurring disorders challenging behaviors, substance abuse and those at risk for homelessness and general at-risk behaviors
•  Completes intake assessments, admission orientation, individual and group counseling  •  Provides advocacy and referral services  • Prepares, reviews, and maintains consumer records
•  Develops, maintains and updates consumer individual Recovery Plans (IRP)  • Ensures program commitments are met; communicates, recommends and implements strategies for continuous quality improvement  •  Participates in preparation and monitoring program budget requirements
•  Participates in the recruitment, hiring and training of staff  •  Supervises and monitors performance of staff and assigned nurse Ÿ Oversees, coordinates and prepares performance plans/evaluations (staff) are completed timely  • Provides training (new and on-going) for staff to ensure compliance with program requirements  • Conducts and documents supervision for direct report employees; fosters a learning environment  • Coordinates quarterly facility inspections with Property Management and Facilities to ensure compliance with agency, state and federal standards • Participate in on-call rotation assisting with crisis situations • Performs and/or assists with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in social work or mental health related field, with a minimum of three years experience, which must include supervisory experience.  Ability to demonstrate proficiency in delivering high quality community based care, and credentialed as a LPC, LCSW, or LCADC highly preferred.  Must possess a valid New Jersey Driver's License
