Project Freedom is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that develops and operates barrier-free housing to enable individuals with disabilities to live independently. Our mission is to create permanent supportive housing within affordable housing for families to create an inclusive and integrated community. Project Freedom supports residents through programming that addresses food insecurity, health/wellness, recreation, transportation, and advocacy services.
In addition to being a developer of accessible, affordable housing, Project Freedom also connects tenants with disabilities to rental subsidies and supportive service providers who assist with daily living activities, allowing self-directed people with disabilities to live independently in a non-medical community setting of their choice.
