Founded by members of Region 9 of the United Auto Workers in 1970, Region Nine Housing Corporation (RNHC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides subsidized housing to low-income families, seniors, and persons with disabilities.

At RNHC, we are committed to excellence in housing, and strive to provide communities and homes that are maintained to the highest standards. We ensure that our apartments, grounds, and community spaces are well – maintained, providing our residents with a comfortable and safe living environment. Region Nine supports our communities’ continued growth and development through the use of on-site Service Coordinators. RNHC staff encourage our residents to reach their fullest potential by promoting independent living and connecting residents to high-quality, community-based services tailored to each residents’ needs.

Today, Region Nine owns and manages over 1,200 affordable housing units throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania and remains committed to our roots in social justice and mutual aid.
