The Supportive Housing Association of New Jersey had a great member meeting earlier this month in Trenton. We greatly appreciate all of our guest speakers including Kerry-Anne Henry, Assistant Director, Office of Housing New Jersey Department of Children and Families who shared about her team’s work in the state. Patricia Collins, Senior Field Representative Supportive Housing Connection New Jersey Department of Community Affairs described the role of the Supportive Housing Connection and Colleen Fitzgerald Velez, Director of Special Programs and Gavin Rozzi, Director of Data Center Administration, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Housing and Community Resources gave an update on the NJ HOMES program.

Asish Patel, COO, Monarch Housing Associates; Kimberly Ewell, COO, Triple C Housing, Inc.; Christopher Pugliese, Chief Property Development Officer, Affordable Housing Alliance; led a panel titled, “Building Resilience in Nonprofits in Supportive Housing” and Al-Tariq Witcher, Managing Director of External Affairs, Fair Share Housing Center shared the Affordable Housing Advocacy Toolkit. Kate Kelly, Executive Director, SHA shared organization updates with advocacy news and Joseph Christensen, Communication & Membership Manager, SHA briefed attendees on the findings from the recent member survey.
