Community Hope is an organization that focuses on helping individuals, including veterans, and their families, overcome mental illness, addiction, homelessness, and poverty by providing housing and support services. Since 1985, we have restored hope to thousands! Through our Hope for Veterans Programs, we have rescued over 6,000 veterans and their families from homelessness and despair. We believe that those who honorably served our country and defended our freedom deserve a roof over their head and to live with dignity.

Founded in 1976, the Community Health Law Project is a statewide nonprofit advocacy and legal services organization. Originally designed to deliver legal and advocacy services to the increasing number of people with mental illness leaving institutions and living in the community during the late 1970s, CHLP has expanded its innovative service model to include people from nearly all disability groups–those with developmental disabilities, visual impairments, physical disabilities, and people living with HIV/AIDS. The mission of CHLP is to provide legal and advocacy services, training, education, and related activities to persons with disabilities and, in certain issues, to organizations representing their interests, with an emphasis on those most vulnerable and needy.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton has compassionate and experienced clinicians who provide proven, evidence-based mental health treatment services throughout central New Jersey to help those faced with mental illness and/or addiction. Our domestic violence treatment, sheltering, and prevention services were among the state’s first, helping families and individuals achieve peace in their homes and end the generational cycle of abuse. Specialized counseling services offering the latest trauma-focused interventions have achieved an excellent record of success in helping individuals and families recover from child sexual abuse. Our cornerstone program continues to innovate ways to help vulnerable individuals meet basic needs and achieve self-sufficiency.
